Postural Analysis Review

Description

This hands-on workshop, developed by the STOTT PILATES® Academy team, outlines the importance of postural analysis in programming STOTT PILATES® workouts. Discuss the differences between static and dynamic posture and consider how each affects exercise choices and modifications necessary. Review postural theory relating to the effect of certain postures on muscle length and strength and actively practice postural analysis.

Merrithew® reserves the right to cancel or modify Courses up to three (3) weeks prior to the scheduled date. In such cases, students will be notified, and any paid fees may be applied to a future course or refunded in full.

  • Plumb Line (optional)
  • To fully participate in this workshop, participants must have access to the equipment listed for the session. Merrithew® equipment is strongly encouraged, as instruction will be delivered using Merrithew equipment. Participants using substitute equipment will not be blocked from participating; however, Instructor Trainers will not be able to modify the workshop content or provide guidance on adapting exercises during the session.
