Reformer: Fascia-Focused Strategies

Description

Experience the STOTT PILATES® Reformer repertoire through a fascia-informed lens in this innovative programming integration workshop. Discover how the Merrithew® Fascial Movement Variables—Bounce, Sense, Expand, and Hydrate—can transform traditional Reformer exercises into fluid, whole-body experiences that enhance movement efficiency, elasticity, and vitality. This workshop helps you explore how these four variables can be seamlessly layered into existing programming to enrich exercise design, refine cueing strategies, and improve overall movement quality. You will also examine the interconnected myofascial sling system and its role in fostering dynamic stability, coordination, and integrated kinetic chain function. With an emphasis on adaptability and flow, this workshop bridges technical precision with fascial freedom—offering movement professionals practical tools to create more responsive and resilient bodies through Reformer-based training.
