ZEN•GA® Lower Body Focus

Description

Build your exercise library with a class-ready overall workout that provides practical examples of the concepts of Breath, Support, Yield and Flow: the principles of the ZEN•GA® program. This workshop, from the STOTT PILATES® Academy team, incorporates new research linking fascia to muscle contraction, force transmission, posture and proprioception. Use small props in a buoyant, playful way in an accessible workout with a lower body emphasis. Learn to honor individual freedoms and limitations and customize exercises to avoid triggering pain and maximize movement efficiency.

  • Pilates Mat (1:1)
  • 12" Mini Stability Ball (1:1)
  • 7.5" Mini Stability Ball(1:1)
  • Flex-Band (light or medium strength) (1:1)

To fully participate in this workshop, participants must have access to the equipment listed for the session. MerrithewР’В® equipment is strongly encouraged, as instruction will be delivered using Merrithew equipment. Participants using substitute equipment will not be blocked from participating; however, Instructor Trainers will not be able to modify the workshop content or provide guidance on adapting exercises during the session.
